Thank you! I’ll add you to my blogroll - I don’t have it turned on at the moment but I’ve been planning to.

And, hard work I guess. The gallery opened in 2006 so I’ve had plenty of time to establish myself. I’ve mentioned the gallery a couple of times in my livejournal communities so that’s helped get me some hits.

I also show up on the first page of google if you search for “Jrock gallery”.

But I think the biggest thing that helped with page views is..images! I’ve got a couple thousand of them so they attract people. Also, I don’t require credit (since I don’t own the copyright) so no one has to worry about crediting me. They can just take them and enjoy~

Hard work and dedication can get you far~

Have a good day,

Tokio

Hi again,

I heard about that picture trick quite often. Alot of people seem to get huge traffic from several pic search engines. So do you just dig up all these pics using the same search sites ?

Best regards

I get a lot of my pictures from jrock_scans on livejournal (but I only take pictures from scanners who are okay with repostings).

And then the HYDE and L’Arc pictures I got from my personal collection - I’m a fan so I have plenty of pictures of them. They come from various people, and I usually find them on fan communities I’m part of.

Some screencaps I took myself and then the Oblivion Dust cd booklet I scanned myself.

I don’t get any of the images from search engines~
